Pill Couple

The group Pill Couple was founded by two school friends – Nikita Katsman and Artyom Kulikov. Later Nikolay Ovsyannikov joined them as a concert drummer and then as a full member of the band.

For some time the group held nearly secret concerts in the underground of Saint-Petersburg, Moscow and mainly of Vladivostok, searching for new musical forms. After the release of the full-length album «No Blade Of Grass», the reflection of guys’ last year experiments, the group took a break again to finish their next album.

Pill Couple performed with such bands as Glintshake, Hospital, also made an unexpected collaboration with rapper MISTER SEA, received comments in numerous online-magazines and gave dozens of interviews, reverently speaking about transhumanist ideas.

«We want to create music in such a way that listeners on our concerts would dive into a real journey of the very nooks of their feelings. We want to strike the very psychology of listeners. We want to create new realities on the concerts», that is what Pill Couple say about their music. Their texts are simple but abstract, the music is dark but lyrical, constant experiments with styles do not let to feel bored, and Nikita’s amazingly different vocal touches the deepest emotions of listeners.
