Lightness

The band Lightness was formed in 2015 by two friends, Andrei Ziganshin and Denis Kachan. Later the bassist Boris Timofeenko, the violinist Dima Volovich and the vocalist Anastasiya Groulenko joined them.

Lightness plays at same time melodious and energetic blues rock, a bit heavier to compare with music of the legends of the sixties. The band’s name Lightness is connected with an image of the hippies – free-thinking people with a light view of life.

For a long time the group stayed in underground and did not play large concerts but now they are ready to set a real show. The band is also going to start recording their debut EP. Lightness is the winner of the elimination rounds of the «Juniors of V-Rox» project.
