The V-ROX festival organising committee has spent the past weekend in the capital of Lithuania, where the 4th international music festival Vilnius Music Week took place. More than 200 performing artists and music industry experts from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Norway, Sweden, Germany, Poland, Ukraine, Belarus, Russia and Belgium took part in this event. Evening concerts of Vilnius Music Week were held in clubs such as Liverpool Indie/Rock Bar, LOFTAS and Vienuolio Pub. The daytime program of Vilnius Music Week also included a professionals-only conference. The TV version of the festival was filmed by LRT channel in the pavilion, where Lithuanian Eurovision usually has its selective concerts.
Lauras Luchyunas, head of the Vilnius Music Week said: “I am very happy that festival happened this way: small and cozy, and it also gathered the real professionals and music fans together. This is the first time we had Vilnius Music Week also as a TV project, which will help young musicians to be seen by a bigger number of people not only in Lithuania, but in other countries as well.”
V-ROX festival was happy to be one of the partners of Vilnius Music Week and is ready to offer its stage in 2016 to those willing to break through to Asia.
