The program of the Festival V-ROX in Vladivostok

The second international music festival “Vladivostok Rocks” will be held on August 29-31 in the capital of Primorye. Here is a detailed program of events. Entrance to the lectures, master classes and music festival is free.

V-ROX is a mix of public performances, a city festival, a music business conference and a creative laboratory. More than 200 musicians, music industry professionals, translators, writers and journalists from central Russia, Mongolia, Georgia, Japan, South Korea, China, the UK, Germany, France, South Africa and the United States will come to Vladivostok.

The Sport embankment of Vladivostok will host concerts, lectures and art fair for three days. The main sites of the festival are: “Main Stage” (opposite the City Oceanarium) and S7 Airlines stage “Fly away!” (near the fountain at the Sport embankment). More live concerts and dj-sets will take place in the “Mummy Troll Music Bar”, bar “Druzhba”, at Paulaner Brauhaus Vladivostok open terrace, in Street Bar and “Barge” club.

An important part of V-ROX are creative workshops, panel discussions and master classes. This year they will be held at the “Barge” club (Sport embankment) between 29 and 31 August.  Promoters and organizers of festivals from around the world, writers and translators, representatives of music companies are among the speakers.

There will be a presentation of the new book “Act” by a well-known writer and journalist Michael Idov , the team from “Yandex.Music” website will give a speech on new opportunities for musicians, Gibson company will hold a special master class, and Alexandr Galushka, minister of the Far East Development in Russian Federation, will take part in the discussion about Pacific Russia.

Registration is required to participate in all educational events of the festival.
